[edit] Things to do
[edit] Get radios sorted!
- That is to say, we plan on another minor transmitter and bringing multiple radios tuned to the correct frequency would create epic sound distribution.
- If someone has a long-life laptop or some other portable sound mixing equipment, some better system can be sorted?
- Even if we all just get/bring something like this it will make the radio that much better, with it being more audible if we all spread out around the protest. --Anontom 19:31, 14 April 2008 (BST)
Confirmed Radio List:
[edit] Things that are not radios
- Chants needed, get your ideas down on this page
- We need to make the reason for wearing our masks more obvious. I think many people felt intimidated or felt that we were concealing our identities because we were acting illegally. Someone has a sign showing a scientologist filming us and saying this is why we wear masks, a few more signs like that would be good. (I'm NOT on it anymoar, mum stole my moneys, i only have enough for transport now :l, --Anontom 18:59, 14 April 2008 (BST)) This is a top Priority people!
- Get Banners/Flyers about Op Freakout?
- Invite the hotodig guy (I'm on it, Wok 14:11, 14 April 2008 (BST))
- Make sure you're making information available to the public between now and then also. Business cards drops - cards, ideas on placement, etc. can be easily found online. Put them on train seats, in newspapers, in letter boxes, stairwells, anywhere and everywhere they'll be picked up. Going on flier/poster runs is also a good idea. Remember, though; if you decide to leave it to everyone else, there's probably a hundred more thinking the same.
- Get a few people to prepare their shit for any possible interviews. We don't want to give them material with an anon blurting out a load of horribly wrong facts. We need a few people who are good at public speaking to make sure they have somehting good to say if the time comes again, so if we shout for someone, hopefully we won't get another newfag who doesn't know what's going on
- Get tables for to put our shit on! (I.E. Food, Drinks, Ghetto-Blaster, Other ) --Sethiroth66 00:41, 23 April 2008 (BST)
- Improve the raid playlist plox
[edit] Ideas
[edit] SainsbuRAID!
gather a group of say 30-40 people, and raid the shelves of sainsburry's for delicious caek [no masks for legal reasons]
How about to fuck with the scifags, we read out OT 3 on a megaphone?
[edit] Camera Attack
Everybody brings a camera, even it's broken, no batteries, working, any state at all. When a scifag comes out of the building, or at a certain time maybe? Everyone holds their camera up and points to the person, in Fair-game style. Remember that cameras also seem to freak out scilons, so be sure to bring yours - even if it's made out of cardboard.
[edit] Why do we wear masks?
I propose making a nice big sign with "ask us why we wear masks" on it. Hopefully we can sort out some of those like the "Tom Cruise is gay" and "Who is Lisa McPherson?" ones. See above --Anontom 19:02, 14 April 2008 (BST)
Perhaps some leaflets as well just pointing out why we wear masks and relating it back to the fair game policy that we're protesting.
- Of course, this relates to the 'prepare your shit' note above - if you're carrying an 'ask us why' sign, you do actually need to have an answer prepared. Mancanon 01:08, 17 April 2008 (BST)
[edit] Mass Textage
I've just put some radio stations text numbers on here. Would be quite lulzy to get all the anons to text the same message (something like 'We are Anon, we do not forgive, we do not forget') in at the same time to a radio station. Imagine the reaction of the DJ if he gets even 50 of the same text!
- Maybe getting every anon in the UK to do this into a national station?
- Would be better to carry some actual message, rather than look like some terrorist cult preparing a radio station. This should be done (getting Radio 1 would be glorious), but we need to actually say something rather than just memespout things they won't understand and may misinterpret.
